Community Involvement

Charity & Non-Profit Partners
We work with a large variety of charity and nonprofit groups. Namely, BC Children's Hospital, Covenant House, Vancouver Food Bank, Pieta House and BC Pony Club.
Community Engagement
Involvement with our community is paramount within our values. We have organized events outside of our office, hosted charity fundraisers at our pubs, and even ridden through Vancouver on horseback dressed as a leprechaun!
Team Sponsorship
IRL sponsors over 20 sports clubs within Vancouver, providing much needed funding into multi-level teams. IRL have entered into a sponsorship deal with Vancouver GAA as the umbrella sponsor for GAA in BC, as well as Smith's Irish Pub being a sponsor of the Vancouver Whitecaps! Other teams include JP Ryan's Hurling & Cu Chullain's Hurling, Strathcona Primo FC, Fraser Valley Gaels & Vancouver Greencaps.
Networking
Bringing influential people together. We hold monthly networking events & exclusive business discussions at our pubs and event space as well as the Terminal City Club.
We also run an event called New & Not So New at Donnellan's Irish Pub, for those who are new to the city, helped by people who have been here for a long time!
